Hexicon recruits top manager from the energy industry
Hexicon has recruited Karin Ljung as new Chief Financial Officer. During the past 15 years, Karin has held various positions in Holmen, and since 2014 she has been Financial Director at Holmen Energi, which in recent years has made major investments in renewable energy. She will begin in her new role in Q3 2022.

Karin joins from Holmen where she worked as Financial Director within the Energy business segment. She has been part of the management team and has been involved in the work to greatly increase Holmen's production capacity of renewable energy in recent years. Karin begins during an exciting time of the company as Hexicon's commercialization journey enters an intensive phase with technology maturity and continued global establishment.

Karin Ljung holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and succeeds Sebastian Robson, who has left Hexicon for another CFO role. In the meantime, until Karin assumes her role, Anneli Nortima has been appointed as interim CFO. Anneli has worked alongside Sebastian during the last period of his employment to ensure a smooth transition. Annelie has experience from several different interim roles in economics and finance in various industries.
