Spain is set to spend at least EUR 200 million by 2023 on the advancement and development of offshore renewable energy technologies as the country tries to position itself as the leader in the field of research and development. The WunderHexicon project is Hexicon’s joint venture with WunderSight, with the aim of developing floating wind projects in Spain and Portugal.

Project activities are also carried out under the Ocean H2 project, together with partner Acciona. WunderHexicon aims to develop floating green hydrogen plants located offshore in low-cost energy areas. The TwinWind technology can produce industrial quantities of green hydrogen, which can be stored or transported. WunderHexicon.
